With the release of the 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) and Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (HOPPS) proposed rules and updates to ROCR sent to Congress, there are significant changes on the horizon that will impact coding, billing, and operational workflows across both freestanding and hospital-based oncology settings.

  • New Administrators Preconference Workshop Open for Registration Now

    Back by popular demand, we are offering our preconference workshop for New Radiation Oncology Administrators again in San Francisco. 

    This course is designed for new administrators for radiation oncology with less than 18 months ‎experience. The course will provide an overview of radiation oncology administration and what you ‎need to know in the first few days, weeks, months on the job, an overview of required knowledge in ‎Human Resources, Administration and Finance, and an overview of the Revenue Cycle. 

    Learning Objectives:‎
    1.    ‎Define basic and common radiation oncology terminology
    2.    Summarize the steps from initial patient diagnosis through to treatment plan
    3.    Identify appropriate codes for each of the stages in the treatment plan
    4.    Plan effectively for human resources needs and budgetary cycle

    The cost is $150 for members and non-members alike.  If you know of anyone who is new to administration or interested in transitioning into an administrative role, this would be a great session to attend.
